Filmic Overload

Last Season on CinemaSnackBar:

Liz and Steven moved into a new place, attended a family wedding, restructured jobs at work, made some hummus and martinis, and logged far too many hours on Guild Wars 2 and film watching.

I could go on and on about the myriad of films and television that I’ve viewed recently.

Looper – left me feeling uncomfortable
Avengers (on Blu-ray) – brilliant as ever
True Crime – an old rewatch that was not worth rewatching
Café – a straight to Netflix indie film that was way too heavy and disoriented in its religious allegory.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer – The ever present comfort food for my TV appetite.  Steven finally finished after 4 years of me forcing it down his throat.  I believe he liked it.

All this to say that while each film and show had its moment they will have to wait in depth analysis as the CinemaSnackBar gears up to attend the Austin Film Festival this week.

Keep your eyes peeled for the official schedule that we may or may not adhere to.

Until then.
